As a part of the celebration of Youth Inspiration Day on Dr.APJ Abdul kalam’s Birthday, the students of class   vidhya Mat.Hr.Sec. School, Medavakkam, sholinganallur road, Jalladampet, Chennai-100 took part in a rally that started from the school premises and ended at a distance of 2 km at Quaide Milleth college,medavakkam. The rally was an initiative to spread the principles of Dr. Kalam among the youth. Students were holding placards and flash cards emphasizing the principles of Dr. Kalam which was thought provoking .It was a breath taking sight to find a procession of 1000 students wearing masks of Dr. Kalam

Vidhya Mat .Hr .Sec. School have celebrated friendship day recently. The program started with great speeches by teachers and students. All the students were made to stand together and the spectacular friendship Band was tied around all the students.  It was a band of Power, a spectrum of togetherness was glowing high and student signed their friend’s names on the band which was a delight to the eyes. This moment wiped all the enmity in their hearts and realized all are equal in the garland of friendship. Student made heartfelt promises to remove the egoism in them to empower the friendship and spread friendship to all.   

Kamarajar Birthday Celebration

113^th KAMARAJAR   Birthday

Vidhya   Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Jalladampet,  Chennai- 100   Celebrated   113^th KAMARAJAR   Birthday on July 15^th   as " Education Development Day "encouraging  students from standard 1 to 12 . Competitions like  1. Hand writing    2. Essay writing   3 Poetry  writing . and  Drawing have been   conducted.

                                               On the overall basis the day was  very  enthusiastic  with the participation of all the students  which improved their competitive spritis.

Investiture ceremony

An Investiture ceremony was held in Vidhya Matric Hr.Sec.School for its student leaders recently. Mrs.Ammu, Sub. Inspector of Police, Pallikaranai was the Chief Guest. After the prayer and welcome address by the Sr.Principal, there was a march past, followed by school flag hoisting by the Chief Guest. As the student leaders were  bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school from the front with commitment and competence, they came forward one by one and took their oath. The ceremony was concluded with the vote of thanks by the Academic Principal followed by National Anthem.

A Workshop for teachers at Vidhya Schol

                     

                                           Teacher’s Workshop 

In an Idea to motivate and enhance the pattern of teaching with present trend and technology in Teaching Techniques, Vidhya Mat. Hr.Sec. School Jalladampet, Chennai-100 organized Teaching Techniques Workshop” recently in the school premises. Around 15 schools participated and more than 50 teachers have attended the workshop the resource person Mr.Jose from ICTACT has contributed all his efforts in training and enhancing the technology in teaching.
