Yoga Day

In order to impart the physical and emotional benefits that we gain from practicing Yoga, the students and management of Vidhya MHS School, Jalladaiampet celebrated World Yoga Day in their campus with a group of visitors from Brahma Kumaris who conferred some breathing techniques useful for enhancing memory power. The students performed free hand exercises, especially for the best performance of right side brain. One of the guests delivered a speech on the importance of yoga.

Every child’s hero, admiration, role model and what not? He’s the one who portrays all the roles. He is someone you look up to, no matter how tall you have grown….could he be someone other than your dad? Dad….the greatest personality in every child’s life deserves to be celebrated. The students of Vidhya Mat. HSS, Jalladampet  celebrated “Father’s Day” in their campus where the little minds worked with their little fingers in making booklets & greeting cards of different shapes and decorated cups, plates and trays and gifted their fathers!

Students of Vidhya Matric Hr.Sec.School, Jalladampet, Chennai – 600 100 went on a rally wearing Child Labor masks, holding Placards and slogans in order to create an awareness on Child Labor. All the students pledged that they would never engage children as labor and light against employing child laborers  in our country

State Level Yoga Competition

The students of Vidhya Matriculation Higher Secondary school, Jalladampet , Chennai -100, won the Second place in the common category and Third place in the special category in the state level yoga competition held at mudichur.

World Scout’s Day

On February 22^nd the scouts and guides of Vidhya MHSS school, Jalladampet gathered to celebrate the World Scouts Day in their premises. The programme included a prayer song, flag hoisting, flag song, scout promise, scout law and a speech by the principal on the history of the movement. There was also a scintillating parade display by the scouts and guides. Events like finding the path and memory games were conducted for the scouts.
